If you are promoting any type of service on the internet, than you qualify as needing a mini site. Mini sites or mini websites, offer a single page structure which acts as a direct response website. If you understand the concept of the old offline business of mail order, then you understand the main purpose for mini sites.

Mini sites create an emotional vibe for the product or service at hand, and sways the potential customer to doing what the mini site owner has intended. That intention is usually to produce sales, create an online list and to create presell pages. In other words, mini sites or direct response mini websites are your online sales people. No sales, no business.

A bit of the problem may also lie about how to create a the words which make up a salescopy, lead capture page or a presell page. I’ve listed some examples here.

Salescopy:

If you’re goal is to straight out produce sales from your mini site, then an important acronym is A.I.D.A. That stands for Attention, Interest, Desire & Action. If we break that down, here’s how you can successfully structure and implement A.I.D.A. into your salescopy.

1. Attention - usually is the H1 header. H1 is the html tag which creates the largest of text and bolds that text to whatever font you have chosen. It stands out as soon as you land on your mini site and immediately offers a primary focus for the mini site. Usually that header opens with a question, statement or a fact about the product or service, which then attaches to the readers emotions. Those emotions are can be triggered by focusing on the “pain points” and desires of your customers. Adding a little mystery also adds a bit of curiosity to the overall mix of emotions.

2. Interest - is basically building off the first point. If your headline focused on how your product can solve their issues, than the interest would be to expand on that headline. A method of “expanding” the issue, is to present the problems they will incur without your product. As you move towards the conclusion of the “interest” aspect of your salescopy, explain how your product will provide a solution to those problems.

3. Desire - that leads to point number three and it basically expounds on the solution of your last paragraph. Now that you’ve entered your product into the picture, continue to show how your product makes their life easier by bullet-pointing the many benefits that they will receive by having your product.

4. Action - last but not least, your “desire” paragraph leads the door open for you call for action. A call for action is exactly how it sounds. It’s a straight pitch to have your customer buy your product now. More triggers that could move your visitor to become a buyer is to place a limited offer on the table. This offer may be the way of price or certain bonuses that may come with your package. We’ve all seen this aspect and how the mini site owner basically places a time limit or a limited amounts of products that they will sell to the public.

List Generation:

The list generation is exactly how it sounds. Your main purpose is to generate a list so that you can have a steady list of prospects to promote your products to. However it also helps that you add some value to the reader so that they also get something useful out of the deal and not just 10 sales pitches about a product or service.

1. offer a free product in the way of a newsletter, ebook or something which can be viewed or downloaded from the web. These products work well because you can create them for free and you can give them away. Most products that you give away from other authors will no doubt have their information which usually cross promotes their products. You don’t want competitive products aligning to yours. You can simply read their report, ebook or video and create your own. You do this by simply putting in your own words and adding some of your own ideas and tips into that give away product.

2. a list generation mini site should point out the benefits of this free product on how it can help them to improve their situation whatever that might be.

3. in order to accomplish the capture of email addresses, you will need to have an autoresponder. Yes its an added expense but it one of those expenses which is necessary. Simply go to the back office of your autoresponder and create the html code to create a simple form so that you can place on your mini site.

Presell Mini sites

Presell mini sites are becoming a hot item and should be one of the strategies you look at when trying to create streams of income online.

Now there are many online entrepreneur’s who use presell pages without actually owning the product. That’s fine and it is and has been continually been done in the past. However, I like to always own the product before I right a review. Unless your some big guru on the internet, you reputation as a reviewer is placed on the line by your reviews. This isn’t the only point on why I would recommend that you own it. The other reason, is much more important than the first. The key to creating a great presell page is to create unique and valued bonuses.

Those bonuses should come in the way of internet based products which can either be downloaded via the net or streamed such as desktop videos. By doing so, you can create unique offers that your competition might not be able to replicate. It’s easy enough to promote and market products via affiliate programs, but the bonuses you offer, will not only set you apart from the competition, but can also add to your credibility and create an opportunity for a backend sale with some of your other products, websites or mini sites that you also own.
