Squidoo lenses are easy to create. But you have to realize, that these lens’ are not used as a one stop landing page. A lens is a website to help guide your viewer to the website that would best fit their needs.

Now that you understand the idea of lens’, let’s get started. Like I said above, squidoo lenses are just guides. That’s it. So to create a successful lens, you have to make it a guide. And once it’s developed as a guide, people will keep coming to it over and over again. Why? Because they trust that your lens will lead them to the right information. Just like a strategy guide for a a video game. You check out the strategy guide at the store your in, see if it’s relevant to the video game you have, and if you think the information inside is valuable enough, you’ll buy it, take it home, and use every piece of information available. That is the same system that your account is going to be like. That is how your going to make that profit.

So how do you get started? Start finding valuable information off of the internet. Clearly you should use your own resources first, but if you have no personal resources relevant to your squidoo lens, than I suggest that you start finding some. Once you have your valuable information relevant to your lens, input it into your lens. Now you have a great guide for anyone who is interested in whatever your profile is about.

Also, if you want high traffic, here is a free tip. Give free things away. People love free things. Give away a free ebook, book, merchandise, sample product, whatever. Just give them some free things. Valuable and relevant free things. And once they use those free things and decide that they are good products, that’s when they’ll start buying stuff from you.
