In Step 2 leave the default set at 5. By doing that it will only look at the top 5 websites in Google for natural dog treats. These are the websites that you need to analyze for an explanation why they have such a high ranki

Click okay and Keyword Elite will do its thing. Click on “report view” to view the results. Click on the very first keyword. It will then display the top 5 ranked websites in the lower frame. You can now see the Google Page Rank for each of these websites.

At the right of each of the websites there is a “details” link. When you click on this you will see a detailed report about every website. Keyword Elite will allow you to see how they have optimized their websites or whether they have just achieved high rankings through luck.

By clicking on the details link in Keyword Elite you will learn the following things:

Whether the keyword is in the H1 tags, whether the keyword is in the title tags, whether they have bolded, underlined or italicised the keyword on the page, whether the keyword is in the alt tags and whether the keyword appears in the first and last 25 words of the page. By analyzing this SEO data you can determine how much work the website owner has done for on page search engine optimization.

The more Nos there are for those websites the easier it will be for you to outrank these websites. The more Yeses there are the more difficult it’s going to be.
