Once have made these changes, you should consider selling the product under a different keyword to that which the ebook was written for. Keep in mind that these rights have been sold to a lot of people, most of whom will try to sell the product as it is. To get ahead of them, and really make money from it, you should make some alterations to it. Change some of the text and certainly the title.

If the ebook you purchased rights to is titled How to Make Money from Private Label Products, you must change it to something else. If you can find a title that has less supply according to keyword analysis tools, use that. For example, sell private rights has 26 million sites supplying to that keyword while sell private label has only 1.3 million. So you can find better keywords. Private label as a keyword has many more times the demand than private rights, yet a lot less supply. That is how to decide what keywords to use for your product.

You then have to advertise the product, but that is an entirely different skill. There is a great deal involved in marketing private label products as your own, but help is available if you need it. There are many websites that can provide you with advice and help you along the wonderful learning curve that makes internet marketing so rewarding if it is done right, and if you have the right amount of advice - and luck!

There is no doubt that if you have your own product to sell then you tend to make more money than if you are selling someone elses product. If you have not yet been able to develop your own original product, then marketing private label products is the next best thing assuming that you change and personalize them so that they are unique.
