-Are you going for seminar after seminar, chasing that gold at the end of the rainbow, the oasis in the sahara desert that always seems 1 desert away?

Because if you are, then I was once in your shoes.. As an Internet Freshie, I must have spent over $30,000 figuring out the internet game. Have you head the story of the Gold Rush and how people were making money selling shovels to mine the gold rather then mining the gold?

Now that youre reading this article, heres the truth right between you eyes, especially if youre in the make money online or home business niche

On the internet, there are 3 groups of people making money.

Group #1: The Gold Guides
Their business model involves teaching you how to make money online. Ive always been puzzled over this model. The thing is, why would a gold guide reveal their secrets to help you make money online when they can be earning themselves? Is the information they are selling and reselling to thousand of hopefuls going to be helpful to you over the long run? How many times can one sell a map to the largest deposits of internet gold? Once that map has expired, then its time to create a second map and sell this map to another group of gold prospecting hopefuls

Or perhaps there is just so much money online to be made, that teaching people how to make money online would not hurt the Gold guides income in any way.. Your guess is as good as mine. From my personal experience.. learning from guides how to mine gold is only effective if that person is doing what he teaches. Would you tell others where your gold deposit was unless you had a profitable plan in place?

Group #2: The Tools Merchant
These are the ones selling the tools, picks and shovels. Translating that to internet jargon refers to Keyword Research Tools, Article Submitters, Video Syndication technology etc.. The Tools merchant makes money by selling tools to help other prospectors. Choose your tools carefully, some tools are good, others are just hype that does not work. Only purchase tools made by prospectors for prospectors.

Group #3: The Prospector
The prospector is the one mining the actual gold. He is the one who has 1st hand experience doing what he preaches. If Mr Prospector shares information with you on how to mine gold on the internet, its because they will get a cut of whatever youre mining.

Thats fair right? There may be more gold on the internet then 1 person could mine alone, so by division of labor and pointing you in the right direction to mine gold from the internet, they deserve a cut of whatever you make. Without their advice, youll be circling the mountain, and most people would just give up before hitting the treasure.

In life, both online and offline, theres no free lunch in this world. Everyone contributes and takes their share of the gold worth the amount of effort they put in. Do to day what others dont so youll have tomorrow what others wont.
