You’re going to fall victim to information overload in the Internet marketing world, everybody does. When your head is spinning with different parts of various schemes and plans (suddenly I noticed that the word “scheme” seems scammy and I’m not going to use it anymore) you can’t concentrate and that is what you need to do right now. Concentrate. Don’t rush into things.

I get asked “I’d like to make money online but I don’t know where to start!” I can feel that. It’s the same way it was for me, only more so.

You see, I have a condition that makes it hard to concentrate! It’s called ADD. Attention Deficit Disorder. ADD actually facilitates thinking about more than one thing at once. My dad said I ad “grasshopper brain”. My teachers said I “daydreamed”. They were right, but what they didn’t know was that my daydreams were scattered and confused, too.

Oh well, we all have something that gets in the way of getting what we want. So let’s get right down to the business of learning how to earn money on the internet.

If you are brand new to the idea of Internet Marketing you are going to have to learn some terminology and build your “Big Picture”

Terminology is easy. All you have to do is look it up and start reading. I still have some vocabulary issues but I’m getting it. If you are the totally new arrival to this marketing world you might consider the definition of “Marketing”. You are going to sell something and make a profit. That’s the part you get to keep. But, we are digressing.

Assuming you are brand new you really would benefit by doing the first things first. I got lucky enough to find some videos by Michael Andrews (vids 1-4) that explains the big picture. It’s sort of a step by step diagramming that explains darn near everything that has to do with Internet Marketing! (IM)

After I saw that (two times) I started right out on the very first lesson. What was that first lesson? It was a training video on the Overture Keyword Tool and on the Google Keyword Tool. (both free, very interesting). Next we went into the techniques of finding under-exploited niches. These are markets you can be a bigger player in due to the fact that there are less people monetizing the niche.

See what I mean? Maybe not, especially if you are the beginning newcomer this article is targeting. If defining the big picture and diving into the first details of keyword research are vitally important, then you need to know what it is when people are talking about it, or else you’ll just hear the whoosh when the idea flashes past your head!

Fortunately, you found this article. I wish had found it sooner. It would have saved me a lot of time and money. I fiddled around with various programs and products and got nowhere. I didn’t know anything! They told me I didn’t have to. All I had to do was follow their plan step by step and I would be making money on the Internet with all the other rich people following their program.
