EBay does not allow you to advertise products that are not being sold on eBay, and if you know how to use eBay to promote your website, then you could be onto a winner.

You are not allowed to advertise products on eBay that are not being offered for sale on eBay. This seems a bit basic, and on the face of it if you have an internet business, then eBay cannot be used to promote those products on your website that you are not selling on one of their auctions. However, there is a way!

If you are involved in internet marketing you know what a list is, and how important it is to build one. You should also understand how difficult it can be at times, and how you must use every means at your disposal to get email addresses added to your database. One way to do this is to offer a newsletter or a series of email courses or lessons on a particular aspect of internet marketing.

Many people use eBay to sell ebooks and other products about internet marketing. It is sad that eBay has got a bad name for this type of product, because it could be a good medium for dissemination of very useful information. The problem is that too many idiots have been using eBay to sell Private Label products for silly prices like $2 instead of the proper price of $27 for example. This cheapens these products and eBay gets known as an outlet for cheap rubbish.
