An Internet Marketing Mentor is someone who provides support, information, education, training, direction, guidance, and provides structure to assist you in achieving your goals. What they dont do is sell or buy.

In selecting a professional trainer, or mentor, you are looking for someone who provides a service, a successful internet marketer him/herself, who will share their knowledge and online marketing experience with you.

Now that youve found someone whom you can trust and who believes in you, what next?

First, you want to find your passion. What are you deeply interested in? Is it writing, or speaking, or a product that is of your own invention, or a product that you have found particularly helpful in your own life?

Let me share a story that I heard this weekend. There was a King. And he was the best archer in the land; no one could beat him. One day, he and his men were riding through the woods and saw a cluster of trees with 10 targets, each with a single arrow right in the middle of the bullseye. The King was astounded and demanded to know who did this. The men looked high and low for the archer whose skill was greater than the Kings, but all they found was a small boy. The King demanded to know how this small boy had achieved such a feat; and the boy replied, I shot the arrows first, and then I painted the targets around them.

You must find your arrow (your passion) first; and then create your target around that arrow.

And you dont want any bent or broken arrows baggage from your past about what you should do or be, etc. You want only straight arrows before you launch them into the world.

According to the Law of Attraction, you become what you focus upon and you are the creator of your own worldi.e. you draw all your own targets.

Secondly, now that you have your arrow, or a quiver of arrows, you want to be sure that you have enough strength and belief in your arrow that no matter what, you are determined to launch that arrow.

There was once a young man, married to a beautiful wife and about to have their firstborn, who had a dream. He had been to Italy and fell in love with all the little outdoor cafs. He so wanted to create that same ambience in the U.S. However, his father-in-law asked him to put his dream on hold. Could you just put your dream aside for the sake of your wife and the new baby?

The young man said, No. He had such strong conviction and determination. He is the young man who started Starbucks the rest is history.

Hold fast to your dreams, your arrow. You are unique. There is and never will be anyone like you. So, be true to yourself and once you find your arrow, paint your target. Failure is not an option.

Thirdly, see your dream in full swing. Visualize every detail. Then work backwards and write down every step that got you to your realized dream; from the last step to the first. This will help you see clearly just how to get there (painting your target!). Now Take the First Step, and the Second and before you know it, you will be living your dream.

An internet marketing mentor will be able to help you find your arrow, to discard any broken or bent ones, and to launch the arrow in the most efficient way possible. Online marketing is like any other skill. You must learn a step by step procedure to success. It doesnt happen overnight, but through dedicated and concerted effort.

You were not expected to learn math or science on your own. You had teachers. Internet Marketing is both an art and a science, so find yourself the best professional trainer you can to teach you, through experience, how to achieve your success.
